Please give us some info about you (name, age etc) and why you think you will fit in our guild and raiding team!: Hey! My name is Christopher and I am 18 years of age, I've been playing wow for 8 years? since tbc and as you may have guessed I enjoy the game very much so. I believe i will fit into this guild as the given description matches my own goals very closely; a more relaxed raid environment that still achieves a high level of progression. In all, my perfect raid experience would be having a laugh with friends while also tackling challenging content.
What is your previous raiding experience?Any achievments you are proud of? (Can be from an old expansion raid): I have raided with a guild called grimharvest as main tank, that at the time, was world ~100, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there however the I could not dedicate my time to the schedule, being of 20+ hours a week on progression. Although i did not spend a huge amount of time there I was extremely proud of my accomplishment, from never entering a heroic raid to main tanking in a world 100 guild, sadly though i do not have much other experience to mention.
Which class and spec(s) do you play?: Protection warrior, although i can play multiple different classes and of course dps off spec.
Currently our raiding days are Wed, Sun, Mon 9 to 12 pm server time. Which days are you able to attend?: All
What do your think you class/spec can offer to the raid?: Prot warriors have always been a staple of any raid, being highly mobile and controlling, and of course tanky.
Describe your rotation, use of cooldowns: In terms of rotation, shield slam and revenge should always be on cooldown, mainly shield slam with priority on the highest uptime of shield block when facing non-casters and dumping extra rage on shield barrier especially when the main damage coming in is spell. As a tank the most important thing is to properly rotate through cooldowns, and save specific ones for different times of the encounter, trinket procs and other things that temporarily increase bonus armour should also be considered as minor cooldowns and decisions should be made with that in mind, for example if i have proc that grants me +2000 armour, i may not need to use demoralising shout as that bonus armour may provide a similar amount of mitigation that I would need.
Could you please share some of your previous logs?: I do not have any available, my apologies.
How do you keep up to date with your class and raid content tactics?: Browsing of multiple sources mainly icy veins and sometimes mmo-champ forums, also applying my own knowledge doesn't go amiss.
The guild is full of "X class/spec" would you consider changing your spec?: Yes
Why did you leave your old guild?: I could not commit to the schedule.
Please provide a link to your armory: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/the-maelstrom/Phraax/advancedWe are using Teamspeak 3 to communicate. Do you have a headset available?: Yes
Do you know other players who would like to join? Or have friends whom you would like to include aswell?: No
